Mr. Aykaç is an experienced consultant with a professional trajectory of over 15 years in the healthcare sector. In particular, he has worked for major companies within the neuro-interventional field, mainly helping in R&D and the development of new innovative technologies. He is bilingual in Turkish and English.
Most recently, Mr. Aykaç founded and is General Manager of ElektroKor, a medical supplies marketing company based in Ankara, Turkey. Moreover, since 2017, he has occupied the position of Purchasing Manager for Noro-Med, a group of companies that imports neurovascular medical supplies, mainly surgical instruments, to sell in Turkey as a distributor.
In addition, Mr. Aykaç was, for 11 years to date, Purchasing Manager of Genç Medikal, a group of companies that import neurovascular medical supplies and sells them as distributor in Turkey. His first professional experience was as an IT Manager for Valör Turizm, where he managed the technical team of a company that arranges and national and international fairs and medical congresses.
On an academic level, Mr. Aykaç has a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from Gazi University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Atilim University. He is highly proficient in IT and digital tools. Further to being an advanced Microsoft Office user, he excels in the use of sophisticated software, including Microsoft Windows End User, and Adobe Photoshop.
Mr. Aykaç also masters end-user experience monitoring, which is an approach to IT service monitoring focused on qualifying and analysing how end-users interact with a technological tool. It is crucial for businesses to improve end-user’s relationship with their technologies and allows companies to boost client relationships and worker productivity.
Furthermore, Mr. Aykaç is a skilled user of Macromedia Dreamweaver and Joomla Web design, software used for creating and designing visually appealing websites with advanced technical components that make for an enhanced visitor experience. In 2005, he received the Best Internet Broadcast Award of the Aydin Dogan Foundation, a prize considered amongst Turkey’s most prestigious in prizing creativity in the cultural, artistic, literary and scientific areas.
On a personal note, his exceptional creativity, artistic inclinations, and passionate personality can also be seen in his exceptional dancing abilities. In 1998, Mr. Aykaç’s team won the Turkish Championship in three different categories for Latin American dances.
